Emily Ball 

Emily holds a Masters and Bachelors of Music in Piano Pedagogy at LSU, studying under Dr. Pamela Pike, Gregory Sioles, and Michael Gurt. Emily is a full time piano teacher at Baton Rouge Magnet High School as well as teaching privately in her home.  She previously taught at Episcopal and Winbourne Elementary. 

As a masters student, she taught group piano class and secondary piano lessons to undergraduate music students. She has served as both secretary and president of the Music Teacher’s National Association student chapter at LSU, and is a member of the local and state Music Teacher's Association. While an undergraduate at LSU, Emily performed in the LSU Jazz Lab band, the LSU Women’s Chorus, and played keyboard on the worship team at church.

Emily is a native of New Orleans. Growing up she participated in recitals and Music Teacher National Association’s Rally and Federation. In high school Emily attended the prestigious New Orleans Center for Creative Arts where she continued her classical piano studies with Sakiko Ohashi and Dr. Jisook Park. During that time, she taught music theory at the Music Academy for Performing Arts in Mandeville, LA, and a New Orleans Center for Creative Arts summer program.
